Unwind with Nomadista Adventures in a Jordanian journey through time. Visit Ancient religious and historical places. Explore Wadi Rum with us which was not only where the iconic film Lawrence of Arabia was shot in Jordan in the 1960s but where the protagonist, Captain T.E. Lawrence, also fought his real life battles against the Ottoman Empire on what is now Jordanian soil.

Visit the ancient city of Petra that became one of the 7 New Wonders of the World when it was chosen in 2007 by a vote of 100 million people. The city’s carved rose-red sandstone rock facades, tombs, and temples became known around the world with its appearance in Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade in 1989.

Visit Jerash which is considered one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. And is sometimes referred to as the “Pompeii of the Middle East”, referring to its size, extent of excavation and level of preservation.

DAY 1 (AIRPORT – AMMAN City tour): Accommodation in a 3 star hotel : you will be picked up from Amman Airport in the morning and get transferred to your hotel and then you will have a city tour in old Amman with lunch . We will visit Amman Citadel , Jabal Al Qala’ah, Amman Roman amphitheater, King Abdullah Blue mosque, downtown walking tour and Rainbow street tour where we will have our dinner.

Day 2 (Ajloun- Jerash- Jesus Babtism Site- Dead Sea): Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave Amman around 7:00am to Ajloun ( 2 hours driving ) to visit the castle of Ajloun. We will spend one hour there.
Around 10:00am we will be driving for 45 min to Jerash; the ancient Roman city of Jordan; inhabited since the Bronze Age. You will visit the 2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forum’s oval colonnade.
Afterwards, it will be lunch time where you will try authentic Jordanian food then driving to The Dead Sea and visit the Babtism site where we will be sleeping in a 4 star hotel in the stunning Dead Sea where you could have a day at leisure in the hotel enjoying Dead sea Mud baths and immersing in the skin therapeutic dead sea water (we will take a hotel shuttle to the Dead Sea beach).

Day 3 (Dead Sea – Petra): We will have our breakfast at the hotel, spend more time at the Dead Sea then take the van around noon to Petra the ancient city of the Nabateans. We will stay in 3 star hotel at the entrance of Petra.

Day 4 ( Petra tour and sleep in Wadi Rum): Breakfast at the hotel early morning We will head at 7:00am to start our visit to the old Nabatean city of Petra and spend the day exploring and visiting the Ancient sites including the famous Treasury, Al Seeq and the Royal Tombs ( you need around 5 hours to visit Petra) then it will be lunch time at a local restaurant in Wadi Musa.
Afterwards, we will head to Wadi Rum (around 2 hours driving). We will then embark on a 4×4 Jeep Safari around 3 pm in the desert to watch the stunning sunset and have a traditional Jordanian dinner at the campsite.

Day 5 (Wadi Rum- Mount Nebo- Madaba- Airport transfer): In the morning we will have breakfast then we will leave Wadi Rum around 4 hours to Madaba the famous city of ancient mosaics. We will visit Mount Nebo in relation to the story of the prophet Moses and will have lunch there and then head for the airport which marks the end of our trip.
